Black Feather Messengers is the debut album from Bedlam Brethren, a rap group made up of American rappers Hollow Christ (also known as Udi the Erratic Assassin), Cheating Death (also known as Merc Versus), and New Zealand record producer and rapper Spearman.[1] It was released independently through Invisible Inc and 116 Productions.[2] The album features appearances from Chief Kamachi, Kevlaar 7, Thirstin Howl the 3rd, C-Rayz Walz, and Verbal Godz.

Blogger Copper Tony of The Hip Hop Speakeasy said in his review of this album: "This New York/New Zealand based hip hop trio, consisting of emcees Udi the Erratic Assassin, Cheating Death and producer Spearman, come swinging out the gate with 14 tracks of the Brethren’s own unique The Roots-meets-Cypress Hill sound. Dope rhyme schemes and clever wordplay flow freely over the dark & mysterious, yet soulfully optimistic beats of Spearman."[3]
