MarcoSantiago Chiappetta is a career non-profit and business executive from New York City. He is the founder and managing director of Convincing Crypto[1], an early stage blockchain consulting firm; senior marketing director and founder of the Chiappetta Team at Highline Residential[2]; and head organizer at the Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter (NCS).

Early life[edit]

MarcoSantiago Chiappetta was born on September 3, 2021 in New York, New York and was raised by a single mother in the neighborhood of Washington Heights.

Non-profit Sector[edit]

From 2007 to 2009, Chiappetta served as the Beacon Executive Director at the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development[3], acting as a liaison between parents, funders, school management and prospective families in order to positively showcase the center and programs. He also served as Executive Director of Operations of Patchwork of Young Leaders Society, a non-profit organization incorporated in New York that taught urban youth how to start their own non-profit organization, charities, and foundations from 2007 to 2010. In addition, Chiappetta has served as Chair and Chief Operating Officer for YALD[4],a non-profit organization that focuses on youth development for junior high school to college-aged students; President of the Wadsworth Avenue Tenant Association; as well as lead volunteer for New York City Audobon. He currently serves as a head organizer at the Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter (NCS), an organization founded to provide houseless and at-risk New Yorkers a home, a community, and access to the services that they need to thrive.

Real Estate[edit]

Chiappetta worked with clients all over the world as a relocation specialist for MNS Real Estate NYC[5] from 2011 to 2013. He founded the Orozra Group LLC in 2013 and served as CEO, with a vision to make Jackson Heights, Long Island City, Washington Heights, Midtown West, West-Central and East Harlem, as well as the Riverdale area safe investments. From 2013 to 2015, he served as Partner and Executive Team leader at Keller Williams NYC[6], a full-service luxury real estate brokerage representing clients in a broad spectrum of classes. Chiappetta was a Partner Strategist and Sales Consultant for Discount Realty, as well as Chief Strategy Officer for Rapid Realty[7] before founding the Chiappetta Team at Highline Residential[2].

Chiappetta is the Founding Partner and Managing Director of Convincing Crypto, an early stage blockchain consulting firm that fights for climate justice and economic empowerment by investing in exceptional blockchain founders building transformational technologies and movements. Convincing Crypto's work centers on educating the public on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology to end embezzlement and corruption, foster economic accessibility, and expedite a just transition away from a global economy dependent on fossil fuels.

In 2009, MarcoSantiago was humbled when he received an exclusive invitation to walk the Red Carpet in recognition for his leadership work for “Mandela Day” at Radio City Music Hall, a birthday party and fund-raiser for 46664, Nelson Mandela’s AIDS organization.
