Lily Kershaw is an American actress and singer/songwriter from Los Angeles, California. She began her career as an actress in the 2000s, appearing in guest spots on television series such as Third Watch, Criminal Minds, Law & Order: LA as well as starring in the short film Fuzzy Connections (2010). Kershaw came to prominence as a singer of folk-pop in 2012 when her single "As It Seems" was featured on the seventh season finale of Criminal Minds, which led to the single becoming popular in several countries worldwide.^[1] Following a second single being featured in the eighth season finale of the series, "Ashes Like Snow", Kershaw signed with Nettwerk Records.^[2] Her debut studio album, Midnight in the Garden (2013), peaked at number 27 on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States.^[3]
