About Me[edit]

My name is Carson, but most online people know me as CrmsnTydGrl. I work in the missile defense industry, but my true love is working with animals. My goal is to go back to school and earn my Ph.D. in conservation biology and eventually return to what I love doing.

Interests[edit]

Sports[edit]

Reading[edit]

  • Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling! I love all things Harry Potter. I used to moderate on the discussion forum known as the Leaky Lounge under the umbrella website The Leaky Cauldron (website).
  • ''Twilight'' series by Stephanie Meyer: I only recently discovered this series and enjoy the sort of vacation my brain gets to take while reading them.
  • The Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward: I lucked into this series just days after the first book came out. If you enjoy vampire novels, you will enjoy this one. Who cares if it's in the romance section! The vampire story alone is awesome.
  • Anything by Jodi Picoult: I have read almost all of her novels except for a select few that are just hard to find. I have yet to read anything I didn't like. My current favorites are The Tenth Circle, My Sister's Keeper, and Salem Falls.

Hobbies[edit]

  • Drawing - I've always loved to draw.
  • Singing - I'm from a family of musicians.
  • Photography and Darkroom Development - for me, the magic of photography happens in the dark room. I love watching my image come up on paper.

Why I Joined the Wiki World[edit]

I actually sort of unintentionally joined. A former player and General Manager for the football team I used to play on started the page for the new football team. She was having issues with making the article notable, so I joined to help as much as possible. It appears that she has decided to no longer edit the article, so I've been trying to keep up with it.

Please bear with me while I figure out how to make this page look more personable!!
