The Verbal Shotgun Effect (www.theverbalshotguneffect.com) is a website that presents entertainment related podcasts filled with humorous viewpoints, current events, and trends. Each month there are new topics that range from whimsical to wacky and regular features such as the Beer Review and promotion of new bands. Audience participation is invited to help choose band of the year. Monthly segments are researched, written and presented by a trio of talented guys who have an obvious passion for informing and entertaining their listeners. The trio is Bobby G, Jammo, and Jay. The website catalogs the monthly podcasts starting from 6/16/2013 to the present. Each month’s podcast averages 1 hour that includes music and movie reviews, banter amongst the collaborators and snippets and sound-bytes from popular culture thrown in for good measure. The website features the podcasts and also highlights show segments including the band of the year poll, and videos, bios and songs from a variety of bands. There is a section devoted to the monthly features that include the beer review, come lie with me, and movie review.
