User:Decltype/Recall

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As an administrator, I am open to recall. That is, any editor in good standing may request that I give up my administrative privileges, for any reason, not limited to administrative actions. Still, a request for recall should be the last resort, after other means of dispute resolution have failed. For me to honor such a request, a few pre-conditions should be met.

A valid request must be submitted by an editor in good standing, that is, an editor with at least 1,000 non-automated edits, at least six months of tenure, and no blocks for the last three months, and who are not impeded by bans or other editing restrictions imposed by the community. Within a week of the initial request, it must be supported by other editors. The group of editors supporting the request must include one or more of the following:

  • At least two current members of the Arbitration Committee
  • At least two bureaucrats
  • At least five administrators
  • At least five editors who supported my RfA and are still in good standing, as defined above
  • At least ten editors in good standing, as defined above

If the group of people fulfills any of the criteria above, I will ask a steward to remove my user right. I reserve the right to run for admin again at some point in the future. decltype (talk) 13:44, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
