The Allgemeine Deutsche Biographie is an important late-19th-century German biographical encyclopedia, containing about 26,500 biographies of people who lived in the German-language Sprauchraum of their time. About 7500 of these have been imported to Wikisource. The titles below are the subset of those 7500 articles that don't yet exist on the English Wikipedia, with links to the ADB entry on Wikisource.

I've run a script to automatically transform some common things (e.g. Foo (Bischof von Köln) --> Foo, Bishop of Cologne, and expanding various abbreviations), but some stuff needs to be gone through manually to point at a plausible English title. Feel free to edit, or remove links that have become blue.
