To close an RfD

1. Click "edit source" on the sub-section header of the discussion you want to close.
2. On the edit screen, click "More ▼" > "Close RfD".
3. Insert your closing comment:

   {{subst:rfdt| '''result''' }}  [further comments]  ~~~~

4. Edit the edit summary to include the result.
5. Save page.

If keep or retarget

1. Click on the appropriate Closure: keep / retarget link on the nomination page.
2. On the edit screen, click "More ▼" > "Scrub RfD".
3. Edit the redirect page (if appropriate).
4. Save page.
5. Add oldrfd to the redirect talk page (if appropriate).

If delete

1. Click on the Closure: delete link on the nomination page.
2. Delete the redirect and its associated talk page as appropriate.

To relist an RfD

1. Click "edit source" on the sub-section header of the discussion you want to close.
2. Copy the whole discussion from the textbox.
3. Click "More ▼" > "Relist RfD".
4. Save page.
5. Edit today's nomination page.
6. Paste the copied section in the appropriate location and add {{subst:relist}}
7. Save page.

Per W3C standards, a JavaScript can only work on one window at a time, so unfortunately it is not possible to automate the whole relisting process with one click. So to relist an RfD, please copy the textbox, click "Relist RfD", save the page, then paste the copied text onto today's log.
