I got ill and pretty much gave up on this. It remains for archival reasons. Dev920 11:08, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

This is an attempt to log everything I do on Wikipedia on a daily basis, without having to trawl through my own contributions, which can be tedious when I've been clearing out stubs, and other such tedious but numerous edits. I won't post my edits to talkpages and userpages unless they're vital to my work that day.

Numbers are a result of me counting: they may be slightly inaccurate.

August 25[edit]

Today I:

  • Closed the Democracy mediation case: user appears to have left Wikipedia.
  • Edited Jake Gyllenhaal again in response to GA comments: see it here.
  • Reorganised Pope Benedict XVI in response to FAC comments, including splitting of article on his work at the CDF.
  • Rearranged Alan Cumming to better accomodate his career (his cause will be taken up once Jake and Benedict are out of the way).
  • Made one or two other edits, mainly correcting mistakes.

On Wikiquote I:

Note: Today has been bloody mental. I've worked virtually non-stop on Wikipedia and Wikiquotes every second I have been home.

August 24[edit]

Today I:

  • Took the Wikiediholic test and scored 1126.0093, approx. double my last score. Oh dear.
  • Add 4 mottos to the WP:MOTTO nominations.
  • Attempted to reinitiate mediation on Democracy after requester got extremely upset.
  • Copyedited two articles.
  • Joined Wikiquote, and Vicicitato (Latin Wikiquote).
  • Joined Concordia.
  • Went through British people stubs and changed the stubs of 4 articles.
  • Went through Jake Gyllenhaal and made extensive edits, such as rewriting the lead section, sourcing a fair use image, and overhauling the entire Personal Life section.
  • Went through Alan Cumming and referenced most of my previous work, adding a significant amount of new information, and then nominated it at WP:ACID because Alan has done too much stuff for one person to document. :)
  • Nominated Pope Benedict XVI for Featured Article status.
  • Made some moderate edits to one or two articles(mainly Jake's family).

August 23[edit]

Today I:

  • Put Jake Gyllenhaal to a Peer Review.
  • Began a mediation at Democracy.
  • Went through British people stubs and changed the stubs of 4 articles.
  • Voted on 8 AfDs.
  • Answered an RfC Religion and Philosophy at Talk:Children of God.
  • Made some mild edits to a few other articles.

August 17,18,19,20,21,and 22[edit]

Entry delayed because I wasn't really editing enough to justify an entry. Then I couldn't be bothered. :D These past few days I have:

  • Went though British people stubs and changed the stubs of 63 articles.
  • Voted on 11 *fDs.
  • Added a new H2 section to CCHS - "Daily Life" with two sub sections and a table, as well as adding several references to the rest of article.
  • Copyedited 6 articles.
  • Went through the List again, removing fact tags where the proof was in the person's article, correcting misc., adding info to linked articles etc.
  • Seem to have reverted a lot of silly edits or vandalism that showed up on my watchlist.
  • Made small edits to several other articles.

August 16[edit]

Today I:

  • Went through British people stubs and changed the stubs of 10 articles.
  • Created the article Boyfriends - admittedly rather poor at the moment.
  • Voted on 10 AfDs and commented on a few more without voting.
  • Answered an RfC Religion and Philosophy at Talk:Salvation.
  • Went through the List of gay, lesbian or bisexual people, correcting entries (Simon Hughes for example, is not gay) and removing where needed.
  • As a result of this, copyedited and added sentences to several articles of LGBT people.
  • Had a lot of interaction with fellow users today, inquiring about articles, requesting things etc.
  • Commented on a Peer Review - Animal Farm.
  • Made one or two edits to a few other articles.

August 15[edit]

Today I:

  • Had a short dispute with Uncle G over my AfD Shi'a view of Ali: apparently if you remove content from a page and copy as is into another, you cannot delete the first article or you are stealing the original editor's work (which seems stupid if all Wikipedia content is free, but there you go). Won't be making that mistake in the future.
  • Added several references and some new information to CCHS.
  • Added background to Rachel Elnaugh.
  • Went through British people stubs again and changed the stubs of 39 articles.
  • Voted on 3 *fDs.
  • Made some mild edits to a few other articles.

August 14[edit]

Today I:

  • Strenously argued to keep /Category:UK model stubs at WP:SFD
  • Uploaded CCHSTypicalTimetable.png for later use in CCHS article.
  • Went through British people stubs and changed the stubs of 11 articles.
  • Made some mild edits to several other articles.
