Early Life and Education[edit]

From Covina, California, Bryan Robert Hearns, a fashion designer living in LA, was born on September 26, 1990. He attended Northview High School and the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising to study fashion design. In September 2009, he established his own company. Hearns gained a love and appreciation for fashion in high school. He discovered fashion shows by watching them on the Dior website when the designer John Galliano was there. Watching these shows helped him realize he wanted to pursue fashion as a career.

His interest in fashion led him to study Fashion Design at FIDM in Los Angeles, California. He then interned for Lauren Conrads fashion show who is also a FIDM alumni. At this internship he helped models get ready for runway. Hearns started his personal career outside of la using materials from places like Home Depot. This helped him in his early career and helped him shape his aesthetic.

Work Life[edit]

Antonio Esteban helped Hearns get connections to design for in the beginning of his career. He has dressed people like Kylie Jenner, Ariana Grande, Cardi B, Rhianna, Demi Lovato and James Charles to name a few. Some popular outfits where the ones he designed for Ariana Grandes Dangerous World Tour. He used street style and concert outfits to make a unique mix for Grande. Some of the materials he used for these looks vary from leather to denim.

Hearns uses sensuality and bold designs in his work. This can be seen in some of the outfits he has used for Demi Lovato. Lovatos black corset uses a mix of satin material and silver hardware going down the chest area and on the straps of the top. This shows a mix of styles and how Hearns is able to tie multiple styles into one.

Cardi B's look for the music video "Motorsport" consisted of a sporty and fiery look. Her outfit consisted of mainly leather. Hearns only had a day to complete this leather look. After this project they continued to work together for other music brojects. Most of Cardi's looks are body suits with strong colors.
