Jam Cruise is a multi-day music festival aboard a cruise ship that has occurred annually since 2004.

The event is put on by Cloud 9 Adventures and features music on multiple stages from funk, reggae, soul, rock, jazz, and jam bands. The ship has departed from various Florida ports including Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale and Miami and had stopped in various locations throughout the Caribbean such as Falmouth, Jamaica, Freeport, Bahamas, Costa Maya, Mexico, and Labadee, Haiti.

In addition to scheduled artist performances, the boat has many features and activities, including: Jam Room, Piano sets, theme nights, activities with artists, Yoga at Sea, Brews at Sea, and Positive Legacy community outreach programs. The capacity for the event has increased since it's beginning with attendance eclipsing 3,000 fans in 2014.

Reviews[edit]

Each night of the festival is documented by the music site JamBase.[1] Jam Cruise has also been written up by Glide Magazine[2] and in a local paper[3]

History[edit]

In 2011, there was a drug bust aboard Jam Cruise.

In 2012, a passenger fell overboard and was airlifted to a hospital at the next port
