Robert Osborn Is a Canadian discus and shot put thrower who holds several high school records in both the discus and shot put, Osborn attends Ridgeway Crystal Beach High School. He has won provincial medals in the discus.Osborn, born in Fort Erie,Ontario. Began his track and field career in high school, during his grade 9 season Osborn threw an impressive 164ft with the 1k discus. In the shot put Osborn threw 43ft with the 4k shot.Osborn in his grade 10 year in high school had some injuries which set back his training for several months, by the time Osborn recovered it was the middle of the track season. Osborn threw his high school personal best with the 1k discus at St.Catherines,Ontario . Osborn chucked the discus 187ft setting another high school record, Osborn also threw 49ft during the high school meets in the shot put.(this was during Osborns injury). Osborn's Personal bests extended throughout the summer meets where he threw 200'11" with the 1k discus, Osborn also threw 55' with the 4k shot during his summer season. Osborn is now finished with throwing the 1k discus and the 4k shot, he has stepped up to the 1.6k discus and 12lb shot put and has personal bests in both such as 167' with the 1.6k disc and 50'8" with the 12lb shot.
