District Science Club, Firozabad[edit]

The District Science Club, Firozabad (DSC, Firozabad) is a department within the Council of Science and Technology in Uttar Pradesh and Department of Science and Technology in India. It was established a few years ago in All Districts of Uttar Pradesh by Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh to promote new areas of science and technology and to play the role of a nodal department for organising, coordinating and promoting Scientific and Technological activities in the District Firozabad. It have funds to various approved scientific projects in Firozabad. It also supports various researchers in District Firozabad to attend conferences abroad and to go for experimental works.

Magistrate of District Firozabad is the President of the Club as the Ongoing President is Mr. Chandra Vijay Singh (I.A.S.) is President of the department and Chief Development Officer (CDO) of District Firozabad is the Vice President of the Club as the Ongoing Vice President is Mrs. Neha Jain (I.A.S.) is Vice President of the department, while Ashwani Kumar Jain is its present Co-ordinator.

DSC, Firozabad supports open access to scientific knowledge, originated from the Government-funded research in District Firozabad.
