Desirism is a theory of morality. It is considered a branch of moral realism It is founded upon folk psychology that says intentional actions are the result of the interaction of an agent's desires (as motivation) and beliefs (as guide to how best fulfill those desires). This model is supported by David Hume's Theory of Motivation [1]
