) is any of several organic compounds that can be viewed as derivatives of naphthoquinone through replacement of three hydrogen atoms (H) by hydroxyl groups (OH). The unqualified term "trihydroxynaphthoquinone" usually means a derivative of 1,4-naphthoquinone.
