2000 IFMAR 1:8 Off-Road World Championship was the 8th edition of the IFMAR 1:8 IC Off-Road World Championship for 1:8 scale radio controlled nitro powered off-road buggies sanctioned by the International Federation of Model Auto Racing (IFMAR)

It was for the first time that the class took place on a ROAR bloc taking place in a temporarily built circuit at the car park of Silverton Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The circuit was built by Richard Saxton, who was also a racer

Daniel Reckward of Germany was the defending champion the race was won by Kyosho's Yuichi Kanai of Japan with a Kyosho Inferno MP-7.5 that he helped to design.
