Hello! I'm (a few weeks away from being) a recent history grad. I mostly lurk here (at least until I feel comfortable with the conventions), but I like to watch this page for strange edits. I happened on it by chance, but I take public health and alternative medicine woo seriously. I find editors with conflicts of interest fascinating, and I actively hunt out their suggestions. My undergrad thesis looks at how the internet has aided the spread of conspiracy theory-related content into mainstream, non-digital media. I've been fascinated with the stranger parts of the internet for as long as I can remember -- not that Wikipedia is "strange." I am a skeptical and voracious consumer of news media, not because someone told me they were the enemy of the people, but because most major outlets are owned by rich men. In my spare time, I play a lot of video games. Thanks to the friendly people at the Teahouse for their helpful comments!
