Occasional contributor to Wikipedia about a few topics I used to have a lot of involvement in (human factors, usability engineering, HCI, usability) but haven't done for quite a long while (12yrs) since I went into the rough and tumble of consultancy and contracting and started to need to earn a crust. Nowadays spend much more of my time on developing IT strategies and designing solutions to business problems - but a background in human factors and usability engineering is no bad thing to have in order to do these types of projects.

My main areas of interest nowadays are (technically) information architecture and service oriented architectures and (non-technically) catching up on sleep because I have to get up at 5:00 every weekday to commute into London, sailing (when I can arrange it - one of these days I will buy a boat again) and trying to stop my weight from ballooning ever more.
