N. K. Singh

Prof. (Dr.) N. K. Singh प्रो. (डॉ.) एन. के. सिंह (born 13 November 1967), Ph. D. (Electrical Engineering) IIT BHU, has more than 27 years of experience of teaching, research / industry and is working as professor & Director at different engineering institutions affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (formerly, UPTU, Lucknow) since last 11 years. He has attended more than 20 National & International Conferences / Seminars / Workshops and organized more than 25 Conference / Seminar / Short Term Courses; he has supervised number of M. Tech. / Ph. D. thesis and published more than 25 research papers in national and international journals of repute. He has been assigned a number of other administrative and academic responsibilities from time to time by Dr. APJ Kalam technical university and he is member of the coordination committee for Value Education and the chairman of Nodal Centre for Values Education, established by the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University; he is actively involved in the mission of creating enduring values for society and is making all possible efforts for humanizing education, he is working with a strong focus on societal development activities for providing low-cost engineering solutions to prevailing problems in rural areas and is putting sincere efforts to make engineering students to know more about the importance of agriculture and trying to motivate them to provide sustainable technical solutions to rural population.

Early Life and Education

N. K. Singh was born in the village Gaura in the Mirzapur District of Uttar Pradesh, he completed his education upto eighth standard in village school and studied for his higher secondary education at Janghai, Jaunpur and further higher studies (engineering graduation) he joined Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering college (presently, Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology), Gorakhpur, he has completed M. Tech. (Power Electronics and Control) from Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur and received Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi.
