Deeponion is a virtual currency that was released on July 12, 2017 is hybrid Proof of work and Proof of stake currency called Onions that is integrated into the Tor network for user privacy.^[1]

History[edit]

Released in July of 2017, a 40 week public air drop gave new users and developers free coins. As of 2021 Deeponion currently has a circulating supply of approximately 22 million Onions of the maximum 25 million supply Deeponion, this is known by Deeponion as the Genisis Block.
