Harold Don Allen was a Canadian educator, writer and numismatist.[1] [2]

He graduated from McGill University with a B.Sc. in mathematics in 1952 and a bachelor of education in 1953. His first teaching job was at Woodland School in Verdun, Quebec, which was then a city.[3] [4]
