Suspicious Package is a music group fronted by Emily Doubilet and Ashlynn Manning. They released their first single "Hummingbird" unsigned. Despite being unsigned, the "Hummingbird" music video caught the attention of MTV and was posted on MTVmusic.com where it hit #1 top rated and #3 most viewed. [1] [2][3]. The video has also been featured by Paper Magazine online[4] and National Geographic online which writes that Hummingbird "heralds the arrival of "bio-pop," a genre coined by the Suspicious Package girls that uses pop music and entertainment to focus on pressing themes of biodiversity."[5] . There is also a mini-video series that documents the adventures of Suspicious Package.[6].
Emily is the daughter of underwater photographer, explorer and New York socialite Anne Doubilet[7] and famous underwater photographer David Doubilet. She also runs a sustainable party products website[8]. "
