Page Proposal[edit]

I have decided to do my topic on youth gangs in El Salvador. I am going to edit an existing article on wikipedia called Crime in El Salvador . The article doesn't have much useful information and it is very basic and short. I am planing on focus on different elements and contents to add in the article. Different things I plan on researching to add in are different gangs in El Salvador, causes to these gangs, prevention to gangs, consequences, and overall a basic aspects of the youth violence and effects it has in this country.

Some research I have already found are useful articles on the drake library website, and I plan on looking at different books for resources regarding El Salvador as a country. Google searching different information on youth gangs in El Salvador will be helpful as well.

I look forward to finding different information about a different country and finding similarities and differences it has with the United States. I want to also focus on talking about how immigration laws have impacted gangs in countries such as El Salvador. With all of the deportation happening, and youths being sent back to their country, this has increased drug trafficking and gang violence amount the youth. I am hoping to add a lot of good and useful information in this article, with good resources.
