Kaymu Slovakia or Kaymu Slovensko s.r.o. is a Slovak online shopping community which provides a platform to link sellers and buyers effectively. The Kaymu community is active in a broad range of retail areas like electronics, fashion and footwear, home and living and other. Kaymu Slovakia was launched in July 2014 and officially launched the online platform as of 1st December 2014.
Kaymu Slovakia is a start-up with an international backround following launches in the Eastern European regions of Bulgaria, Belarus, Croatia and Slovenia. Its activities are aimed at local merchandisers providing a strong alternative to buying from abroad. Moreover, Kaymu makes the delivery conditions better for buyers by supporting sellers and bringing them closer together in a community. It also imparts proactive and strong support to local producers where it goes in-line with the current trend of relocalisation and deglobalization.
Kaymu has operated as a global organisation since 2012 and has activities based in 33 countries worldwide with a great emphasis on Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe.
Rocket Internet and Kaymu
Kaymu is part of the international incubator Rocket Internet, a great platform to support online businesses out of USA and China. Rocket Internet is active in three categories: e-commerce, marketplaces and financial technology.
Mission and Vision
Mission of Kaymu Slovakia is to help to grow thousands of local businesses by the means of education, technical and marketing support. Vision of Kaymu Slovakia is to become the biggest online marketplace enhanced by becoming a technical leader on the local market.
