Mukhethwa Nemaname, aka MK, is a graduate for the Tshwane university of Technology in entertainment technology. He is an Art Director / Décor And Props/ Set Builder born in January 16, 1994 in Venda, Siloam Hospital. He discovered the theatre world in grade R where he was casted for a children’s show as the protagonist of the show, and ever since then, he developed an incredible passion for stories. He enjoyed reading them, watching them in movies and learning to write them himself. He lived in Venda, Nzhelele, for most part of his childhood life where he was raised by his mother and father as a young artist. He started painting in 2010. Discovered his love for art forms while attending The university of Venda in 2013 where he started writing plays. He then enrolled at the Tshwane University of technology, Arts Campus, in 2017 to study Entertainment Technology and majored in Props and Décor Painting. He was awarded certificate for best props student for two consecutive years, top of his class, 2017 and 2018. He’s been freelancing since 2017 for private productions building and designing their sets, and this include film sets as well. He’s taken on roles like the Assistant stage manager, Décor painter and props master for some of the shows he’s worked on, incredibly driven and relentless at being a team player. He’s worked with the likes of Tiro Venter (StageFright Industrial Theatre), Vanity club as a temporal carpenter, and built sets for third years Drama students since 2017. He became the Co-founder of two companies which are Cinemages studios, film production company, and Sylver Star Productions.
