High school is a place where popularity can be as important as grades. Those who stick with the right click do only a certain percentage of there homework do to friends who they can use as academical support. As long as teachers can not prove that a student has copied off anothers work or unless they really care the kids with the most friends can copy off other peoples work as long as they don’t do it word for word. Popularity also has other advantages such as sitting with a bigger group at lunch, having people to talk to during classes and being idolized by other people in the school. In College popularity is not as important. People aren’t automatically excluded from others because of there weight or by there style or hobbies. People are judged mostly on the way they act wich is how all people should be treated. The flip side of that is with so many people its hard to find people you really clash with, people you can tell things to, things you don’t want others to know. In college you can also basically wear anything you want as long as their not pajamas. In high school you know basically everyone or at least everyone in your year from elementary school and junior high. From college if you even just a little outside the town you don’t know as many people due to other people who arrive there and the farther away you go the less people you will know. Apart from popularity you are also living in a dorm with one to two different people instead of living home with your parents. Being away from people who will help and or do things for you it is very difficult to then do things completely on your own. Buying food when you missed it there, having to deal with your problems all by yourself without being in the comfort of your own home and waking up without being woken up. In college you have a lot more responcibility a lot more freedoms your in everyday life then you do in months of high school. Having basically no one to solve the really big problems in your life and giving you a look at how life might be like to be totally on your own.
