Astor Milan Salcedo[edit]
Astor Milan Salcedo is a German multidisciplinary artist born in Madrid, Spain. He creates abstract paintings as well as conceptual art and photographs.[1] As a creative director he won the Deutschen Fernsehpreis in 2009 for the reportage Die Bombe through his company Mediaturns[2]. [3]His passion for music has lead him to a career as a DJ. [4]
Biography[edit]
Astor Milan Salcedo parents were Colombian and he was born on April 8th 1969 in Madrid, Spain. His father was the renowned journalist Andres Salcedo[5]. Astor started his career as a fashion and beauty photographer before turning to television and film. He co-founded his company Mediaturns GmbH and worked on numerous documentaries and films. [6][7][8] In 2012 he decided to focus solely on art and music and found a gallery in London were he exhibited for the first time in 2016.[9]
