User:EngvarB consistency

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quoting from the Manual of Style (MOS:ARTCON): "While Wikipedia does not favor any national variety of English, within a given article the conventions of one particular variety should be followed consistently."

This account performs consistency edits for articles that use British English. -ise and -isation (as in the word organisation) are used by default, or -ize and -ization in case of Oxford spelling.

Edits are performed only on articles for which EngvarB is the obvious choice (for example, articles about Britain) or articles for which EngvarB has been established with templates in the article or on the talk page. If a template is present in the article, but not on the talk page, it will be added on the talk page. If a template is present on the talk page, but not in the article source, it will be added to the article source.
