I am a student in Approaches to Development, a course offered in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University. The course is part of the WikiProjects U.S. Public Policy Initiative. You can find my sandbox here.

I plan to either edit the Appropriate Technology article (specifically the Appropriate technology in developing areas section) to include more information on design, appropriate technology and development or to create a new article for this information (based on Wiki community advice).

Before returning to school for my Master's in Public Affairs, I worked as a newspaper designer for several years (my undergraduate degree is in journalism) and served in the Peace Corps as an Information and Communication Technologies volunteer. In my free time (what free time?), I take pictures, read books, and travel.
