The novel narrates the story of Prashanth, an erotomaniac and his marriage to Rashmi, who is totally opposite of his unsocial and immoral character. Prashanth When Prashanth's elder brother, Pramodh, hangs himself due to love failure, Prashanth is depressed. When he returns to Bangalore a month later to continue his studies, he finds out that his girlfriend is going out with Gautham.
