(The Abed El Halim Family) Is one of the largest and most influential families in North Galilee, Israel. The Muslim-Palestinian family distended from Syria to Kfar Manda, Palestine in the late 1800s. Since 1983 the family has been involved in the local politics, represented by the family leader [1], together they helped build houses, schools, parks, and streets for the local working community. The family has grown from local farming in the 1930s into distributing agricultural goods to businesses and charity communities in [2]. The family is also known to run multiple Charity campaigns such as [3] and [4] to help support local Arab students, Families, and businesses. In 1981 the Abed El Halim family and other Arab Israeli Families formed [5] to help spread peace among communities and families in Israel, the West Bank, Jordan and Palestinian territories. Together the comity stopped [6] and many other crimes from repeatedly accruing in the Arab Communities.

Biograohy[edit]

Abed El Halim-Abed El WaHab is the man at the top of the family tree, it is believed he moved to the land of Palistine around 1830-1840 where he started a family in a small village in the north of Palistine near the Syrian border. The family grew in quantity along the years and ran the local town as the [7] which was a tradition in the Middle East to pass down in generations. The Abed El Halim family lived a simple farming life just like any Arab family in the late 1800s and early 1900s, until December 13th,1954 also known as "Yori's Day" in the Palistinian Culture. On this day the [8] Sheikh Mahmood Abed EL Wahab saved the local village from being demolished, and the family were held as local heros. [9] Signle handeled all the vilage and local tribes problems and needs, supporting the community in both farming and marriage concerns, which by the Palistinian tradition is the responsibility of the local [10]. 

The [11] status was passed down from Sheikh Mahmood Abed EL Wahab to his younger half-brother Muhammed Abed El Halim upon his death in 1970. Which was eventually given to his son Taha Abed El Halim when he was decleared the mayor of [12] in 1983. 

As both the family and the town grew, Mokhtar [13] understood that the tradition has to be structured in order to keep things orginized, he formed the [14] union, which was formed by 12 different memebers of different branches of the family. Together, they built [15] and formed Arab charities around the Israel as a single one big family.

[16] was declared as a peace Icon in the palistinian-Israeli community and was nicknamed "The Father of The Poor" upon his death in March 2nd 2016. The [17] stepped out of the political scene until October 22nd 2018 with the win of [18] son [19] where he continued his father's mission and finished all remaining projects in the town until March 2nd 2022.

Since March 2022, the family has decided to step back of the political scene once again and persue different business leads independetly such as Law, Medecine, Comuter Science and Education.
