Jean-Louis Laruette (7 March 1731 - 10 January 1792) was a French opera singer and composer, who was born and died. A popular interpreter of haute-contre roles, he first performed on stage at the Theatre de la Foire Saint-Laurent in 1752 before moving to the Comédie-Italienne in 1762 and the Theatre de Beaujolais in 1787.

He was married to the singer
