Forgotten Lords is an English speaking Canadian from Edmonton Alberta born in 1986. He is working on a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Alberta and is highly interested in Science Fiction, Fantasy, Steampunk, and Alternative History across many mediums but primarily those of television, books, and video games. He is employed as a computer programmer and is familiar with Python, PHP, Java, LUA, XML, CSS, Javascript and several other programming languages.

He is a devout atheist, self-proclaimed geek, casual petrolhead and mildly left wing.

Writing Style[edit]

Although I would consider myself an above average writer with a fairly robust vocabulary, I am certainly aware that my writing style does leave a lot to be desired. I have a propensity for run-on sentences, repetition of facts, overusage of commas, unusual grammar, incorrect sentence structure and improper capitalization to name the most common. As such I usually take revisions of my works fairly well when my intended meaning survives the editing. I even welcome corrections to my work.

As a newcomer to Wikipedia, please point out any ways that I can improve how I conform to Wikipedia standards. I am trying to read the relevant wiki articles, but there are way too many to read through easily so at the moment I am trying to follow what my common sense tells me.

I have contributed to and am watching the following pages and their respective talk pages:

Fragapalooza - As a regular Fragapalooza attendee and volunteer I have contributed significantly to the expansion and maintenance of this page as of March 2009. This page is currently the focus of my Wikipedia attentions. I really want to get some more valid numbers for the attendance records from past events, and expand on the history/evolution of the event itself.
Edmonton Transit System - As an Edmontonian who regularly uses the local buses, I consider myself fairly knowledgeable on the subject.
Mutant Chronicles (film) - I have not played the Pen and Paper game, but I have watched the movie. I noticed this page contained several comments in the plot summary that did not comply with the Wiki:NPOV policy, and am monitoring the page with plans to further expand on appropriate content.
