From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A device Patient-Reported Outcome (dPRO) measures a health outcome objectively reported by the patient's device. The clear advantage is that the health outcome is not influenced by personal feelings or opinions, this lowers the BIAS, that impacts on analytics.

Devices can be distinguished by Certified Medical Devices, or Consumer Devices.

Consumer devices are fastly improving their accuracy and widening the type of health status measured in one device.
