Izuku Midoriya[edit]

Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, is the protagonist of an anime and manga series called ‘My Hero Academia’ written by Kōhei Horikoshi.[1] He lives in a world where human is born with different powers called Quirks[2]. Midoriya was chosen by All Might to be the 9th holder of One for All (a quirk that stockpiles the user's physical strength and unleashes it as a powerful smash, which can also be passed from one person to another.). Thanks to this power, Midoriya was admitted by his preferred school (U.A. High School) .[3] After long time training and several actual combat with villains, he found the key to control the power and become the No.1 hero from a non-quirk boy.

To the reason that he has being bullied since his childhood, midoriya used to be insecure and reserved. After fighting with his classmates several times, he gradually becomes confident and self-expressive.[6] Izuku also cares about others, he will never hesitate to help someone in danger, even he is not strong enough to do it[7].
