A rewrite of the plot summaries in the list of Sonic X episodes, improving on problems such as past tense, inconsistent tense, omitted plot details, incomplete summaries, and unclear language.

This is based on the English localization by 4Kids Entertainment. I have currently viewed 40 episodes and have rewritten/reviewed 4 summaries. The full series is officially available on YouTube here.

In a battle, Sonic the Hedgehog destroys Dr. Eggman's Energy Amplifier, powered by the seven Chaos Emeralds. This causes a huge explosion, a result of a phenomenon known as Chaos Control, which sends Sonic; Eggman and his fortress; Rouge the Bat; Cream the Rabbit and her pet Chao, Cheese; Miles "Tails" Prower and his biplane, the Tornado; Amy Rose; and Knuckles the Echidna to Station Square, a city on Earth. Sonic wakes up in the middle of the city and starts running down the freeway to look around. The police try to catch him by deploying the Speed Team, led by Formula One car driver Sam Speed, but he outruns the team and escapes; however, he falls off the road and into the pool of a mansion. Sonic, who cannot swim, is saved by Chris Thorndyke, a young boy and resident of the house.

The day after Sonic comes to Earth, Sonic meets Chuck, Chris' scientist grandfather. A television news report shows footage of Cream and Cheese being rescued from a high advertising sign by firefighters. Chuck finds that Cream and Cheese have been moved to Area 99, a secret military base. With Chris' and Chuck's help, Sonic infiltrates the base and rescues Cream and Cheese, reuniting with Tails in the Tornado on the way out. Meanwhile, Dr. Eggman, whose fortress has been teleported to a deserted island, schemes to establish an "Eggman Empire" starting with Earth.
3"Dr. Eggman's Ambition" ("Missile Wrist Rampage")

Dr. Eggman selects his giant robot Missile Wrist to destroy Station Square. Meanwhile, Amy and Knuckles are traveling through the sewers when they hear Eggman's rampage. Sonic, Tails, Chris, Amy, and Knuckles engage in battle with Missile Wrist and defeat Eggman, who returns to his fortress. A group of SWAT police officers confronts the heroes, but they escape and return to the Thorndyke mansion, where Knuckles leaves the group.

The President authorizes the assignation of an undercover agent, Mr. Stewart, to spy on Chris, becoming his classroom's teacher. At home, the news reports that the green Chaos Emerald has been found at a construction site, its energy causing machinery to malfunction. Sonic, Tails, and Amy set off for the site. Dr. Eggman, also seeing the report, selects his giant robot bird, Beacon, to help him retrieve the Emerald. After seeing his friends fight Eggman, Chris leaves class and retrieves the Emerald from the construction site. Eggman steals the Emerald from Chris, but the heroes get it back and destroy Beacon.

Knuckles, who had separated from Sonic and the others and was acting alone, was hiding in the city. Dr. Eggman approached him and told him that he was going to collect the Chaos Emeralds and return to their own world, apologizing for all the bad things he has done and wanting him to defeat Sonic. Knuckles is deceived by his words. At that moment, a news report announced that an unidentified jewel had been discovered. Sonic and Knuckles headed for the jewel, which was in fact a trap set by Eggman. There, Sonic and Knuckles have a showdown.
6"Fierce Battle! School Wars" ("Techno-Teacher")

Chris and his classmates are on an extracurricular outing at school, and Dr. Eggman sends a robot to them, thinking that to conquer the world, he needs to educate the children. The robot is very enthusiastic about teaching, but it starts to run amok, putting Chris and his classmates in danger. Sonic rushes in and an epic battle with the robot begins.

Chris is in a panic when he finds out that Mr. Stewart from his school (actually a spy sent by the President) is suddenly coming for a home visit and he doesn't want him to know about Sonic, Tails, Amy, Cream or Cheese. Of course, no one in the house except Chuck knows about them yet, so they try to keep it a secret somehow, even from Ella and Tanaka. However, they are in big trouble when Cream and Cheese leave the room on their own.
8"Emergency Takeoff! X-Tornado" ("Satellite Swindle")

Dr. Eggman found out that he was being monitored by the military and used a robot (E-11 Pelican-type) to swallow the satellites. This has wreaked havoc on the surface. Cream can no longer watch the TV program she was looking forward to. Sonic is on his way to solve the problem, but he can't make it to outer space. So, Tails and Chuck modify the Tornado to take Sonic on-board and head out to defeat the Eggman robot.
9"Amy at the Beach" ("The Last Resort")

Chris is attending the opening ceremony of a resort facility, so everyone goes to Chris' family's villa. However, Sonic had gone somewhere. Amy wishes she could have come with Sonic while looking out at the ocean. At that time, Dr. Eggman appears at the ceremony and goes on a rampage with his robot to create Eggman Sea Park. When the amulet she was going to give to Sonic is destroyed, Amy becomes furious and defeats the robot, but falls into the sea.
10"Fierce Fight! Sonic Baseball Team" ("Unfair Ball")

A Chaos Emerald is discovered in the stadium, which is scheduled to be demolished. Sonic and friends immediately rush to the stadium, but of course, Eggman arrives and a standoff ensues. Chuck suggested that they play a fair game of baseball, and the Chaos Emeralds were fought over by Dr. Eggman's team and Sonic's team in a baseball game.
11"The Beautiful, Mysterious Thief, Rouge" ("Fly Spy")

Due to Chaos Control from episode 1, Rouge was also sent to this world. Rouge is a jewel thief in this world. At that time, the presidential office was plotting a plan to bring Sonic on board to overthrow Dr. Eggman. They then spread a false rumor that a Chaos Emerald had appeared, and tried to capture Sonic. Rouge ended up being caught in the trap. The government told Rouge to become an agent of the president and infiltrate Dr. Eggman's base. However, when Rouge finds the Chaos Emerald inside the base, she tries to take it away and gets into a fight with an Eggman robot.

In the presidential office, plans were being made for an attack on Eggman's base. A presidential envoy visited Chris' house and asked Sonic for cooperation, but negotiations failed. The government tried to infiltrate the Eggman base with special forces led by Rouge while Eggman left the base. At the same time, Tails and Chris on the X-Tornado and Eggman are at war with each other over a Chaos Emerald. Sonic, learning of this, rushed out to save Chris and the others.

Sonic rushes to Chris and the others in a pinch, but Eggman takes the Chaos Emerald away from them. When Sonic and friends chase him to Eggman's base, they find Eggman and the government's army fighting at the base. Rouge, Knuckles, and the others infiltrate the base, set a bomb in the power unit, and try to escape, but they are trapped by the shutters.

Eggman's base collapses. However, the topic of the press conference focused on Sonic, who was not in attendance. The presidential aide is disappointed, believing that if nothing is done, the president will lose the next election. He decides to hold a victory party for Sonic and let the press take pictures of him shaking hands with the president so that his popularity will go up. Immediately, he sent Sonic an invitation. Chuck buys new tuxedos for Sonic and the others. However, Sonic had something to do. In fact, he had an appointment to meet with Helen, a girl in a wheelchair who is a classmate of Chris'. The aide, who wants Sonic to attend the meeting at any cost, chases after him with special forces.
15"Attack of the Mobile Fortress, Egg Fort!" ("Skirmish in the Sky")

With his base collapsed, Dr. Eggman terrorizes the city with his mobile fortress Egg Fort that was hidden underground. Sonic rushes to the scene, but he can't reach the high-flying Egg Fort, and Chris and his friends are fretful, wishing they had the X-Tornado to reach it. Tanaka had loaded it onto a trailer. Sonic rode the X-Tornado into the Egg Fort and a great battle unfolds.
16"Aim for It! The Sunken Ship of the Southern Sea" ("Depths of Danger")

A Chaos Emerald (green) left a signature over an overseas resort. Apparently, there is a fourth Chaos Emerald in the sea. But Sonic cannot swim, so he went to a diving store, puts on underwater equipment, and dove into the sea with his friends. The team searches for the Chaos Emerald, and they find a sunken ship from the Age of Discovery. In it, they find the Chaos Emerald. Then all of a sudden, an Eggman Robot attacked them, leading to a disastrous situation.

In Oriental City, Knuckles seeks out and reunites with a treasure hunter man called Hawk. The two escaped from the dungeon and rode in a wheeled taxi to the hiding place of a Chaos Emerald. There, the wheeler-dealer from earlier appeared. It turns out to be a female ninja robot sent by Eggman. An epic battle begins between the female ninja robot and Knuckles over the Chaos Emerald.

Tails and Chris meet two men building a dam in the middle of the savanna. Tails and Chris question the pointlessness of the construction. They appealed to the men to stop the construction, but the men refused. Tails and Chris, accompanied by a group of animals, march through the city in protest. The men resist in order to carry out the dam construction work at all costs. Then an Eggman robot comes and finds Sonic, whom it was looking for, and a fight breaks out, with the men getting involved in it.

Chris and his friends come to an old castle by the lake to watch Chris' mother Lindsay film a movie. However, the filming is temporarily halted due to a strange noise that occurs during the shooting. In fact, someone has moved the hourglass that had sealed the demons that live in the old castle. As a result, various mysterious phenomena occur there.

Chris' dad had purchased a ring (actually a Chaos Emerald) from a jewelry store and was going to give it to his mom as a wedding anniversary present. Mom, an actress, was filming at the studio that day, and Dad had secretly planned a fancy surprise party by calling Chris, Chuck, and the S-team leader to the studio, but when Eggman, Rouge, and Topaz notice the Chaos Emerald, they come crashing in like an avalanche and wreak havoc.

Knuckles believes that the only way to get the seventh Chaos Emerald quickly is to cooperate with Eggman, so he comes to persuade Sonic. However, he could not meet Sonic, and Chris, who heard his plan, went with Knuckles to the forest where Eggman is.

Chris thinks that he has to return Sonic and the others to their own world as soon as possible, so he gives the Chaos Emeralds that Chuck had been keeping to Eggman. Sonic and his friends rushed after him. However, Eggman finally finds the last of the Chaos Emeralds.
