Bohdan Danyliw (March 10, 1924 – December 31, 2010)^[1] was a retired United States Air Force brigadier general who served as a flight engineer during World War II and later served as an attorney in the Air Force, chief of the Civil Law Division in Japan; as Chief of the Opinions Division — Contract Appeals; in the Directorate of Procurement Law; as Air Force chief trial attorney; as deputy staff judge advocate; and as the Command Staff Judge Advocate at Andrews Air Force Base, from 1973 to 1977.^[2]

Early life[edit]

Bohdan Danyliw was born on March 10, 1924, in Hartford, Connecticut. As a youth, Bohdan grew up in the Hartford Ukrainian-American community and learned to speak the Ukrainian language.^[2] He graduated from Bulkeley High School in 1941.
