Great American Desk Company Since 1957, when the Gruber Family began Trawood Mfg. Co., and through the years as Eurocraft and Nextech, Great American Desk Company has been in the forefront of technical furniture design.

Trawood got its start making countertops for the RV Industry in Elkhart County Indiana and then expanded into wall units. In 1978 the company created its first trading desk, and since then has designed and manufactured tens of thousand of desks that are installed in hundreds of locations around the world.

Over the years, the Gruber family changed the name several times. In 1990 it became Eurocrat, and in 2001 changed names again to Nextech. In 2014, the Clinton Family purchased controlling interest and joined the Gruber Family in building the next chapter of this American success story.

In 2001, Nextech Corporation won an award for their Benching System at NeoCon 2001 in Chicago. The POD workstation, consisting of three 120 degree desks sharing a common frame and centralizing wiring and computer storage, was very progressive for the time. NEED SOURCE
