Hello, thanks for dropping by my page.

My name is Michael Topple. Although this account dates from January 2024, I have been editing Wikipedia for a number of years (I made my first account back in 2012, although I've lost the details now). My wife and I live in Newton Mearns, just a few miles south of Glasgow.

I am a student of Divinity at the University of Glasgow, and a member of the Free Church of Scotland. I have been a preacher since 2015 and an Elder (see Role of the Elder section) since 2020. I have been a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland since 2022.

Outwith Church I am a Amateur Radio operator (callsign GM5AUG), and a District Representative for the Radio Society of Great Britain.

My Wikipedia editing interests include Scottish Church history (where I focus on Scottish Presbyterianism), Communion tokens (of which I have a large collection), and Amateur radio.

I am a Linux user, tending to favour Debian as my distro of choice. I am proficient in Morse code and am currently improving my Scottish Gaelic.

You can see more about me from my two websites: my personal and Church website or my Amateur Radio website.
