Zac Maloy is Zac Maloy is an acclaimed songwriter and producer whose songs have been recorded on numerous top-charting albums. Zac first found success as the lead singer/guitarist and songwriter of the alternative rock band, The Nixons, which released three albums on MCA/Universal Records. Their album, Foma, sold over 500,000 copies and scored a Rock hit with their song “Sister”, which eventually crossed over to Top-40 as well. Zac and the band embarked on worldwide tours with bands like Radiohead, Soul Asylum, Kiss and Bush.

After The Nixons went on a hiatus, Zac began writing and producing for artists.  One of his first cuts was “Used To” on Daughtry’s eponymous first album, which went five-times platinum worldwide.  This opened the door for Zac to score singles in a range of genres, including Carrie Underwood’s # 1 Country single “Temporary Home”, Cavo’s Top-10 Rock single “Crash” and David Cook’s Top-10 Hot AC single “Come Back to Me”. 

Other artists he’s worked with are: James Blunt, Jonas Brothers, Theory of a Deadman, A Rocket to the Moon, Our Lady Peace, BC Jean, The Academy Is, Hanson, Fighting With Wire, The Maine, Electric Touch and Jason Castro.

His production credits include albums released by Bowling for Soup as well as Burn Halo’s debut album, which includes a Top 20 Mainstream Rock Single.

Zac Maloy currently resides in Nashville, TN, where he continues to collaborate with various artists and songwriters.
