From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello ! I am a college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in English. and a Bachelor of Arts in studio art, from the University of California of Davis. As a writer, storyteller and fine artist, my interest at Wikipedia includes creative art, the myths of the world, as well as Native American and other (under published) North American history.

Since joining Wikipedia I have taken a strong interest in the Native American people of California, and in mythology. Both subjects seem under studied and are of utmost importance that cannot be lost to time, or lost to current trends, in my humble opinion. I have learned more than I can tell you from other editors and research.

In years 2008 to present I have spent more time on editing words at Wiktionary, because it is a little less controversial to work on words, and because we all need a framework of words in order to communicate. (Especially to save the ancient thoughts ...)

I also have been hoping to recruit from Wikipedia to help at Wiktionary through their Transwiki process. The Transwiki process seemed a little broke when I began, with 5000 virtually untouched entries since 2005. I have whittled down the list to about 1000 by now. So if you write a definition and it gets Transwikied to Wiktionary, I encourage you to go make it pretty at Wiktionary and slap yourself on the back for adding a new word there. It's all good!

Current research -- to do[edit]

  • sort stubs - myths of world
  • sort stubs - art categories (my goodness...1000 stubs?)

Current wish list[edit]

If you want to help here are some worthy topics I don't have time for at the moment. but see the need for:

  • Keep sorting art and artist-stubs 9/2018
  • Check mythology is written about, truly and fairly

Wishing Fellow Editors Peace and Prosperity.
