Introduction[edit]
Welcome visitor. I'm a male from the Netherlands. I've used this nickname a few times in a game long time ago. I can't remember which game it was. Basically I opted for a girls name as a nick for artistic reasons (I'm not artsy by the way). I use Gretchen as it is a beautiful name in my view. Mädel is German for "woman or girl" and nick is an abbreviation for 'nickname'. Combine those three words into 'Gretchen Mädelnick'. My background is electronics and computer programming.
No Television, No Radio, No Newspaper[edit]
I haven't watched television nor did I listen to the radio as of the year 2001. The emptiness, the lack of real information accompanied with political correctness and lies by the main stream media, senseless yelling and senseless nudity made me quit watching the T.V.. Nor do I read the newspaper. Instead, I gather all my information from the Internet. Occasionally I browse the channels on SHOUTcast for music. Let me tell you, not depending on said medias is a liberation. People think they can't live without it, but once you try you won't go back.
