Devineni Avinash, (born 15 March 1988) is president of Telugu Yuvata, the Telugu Desam Party's frontal organization.

Political Career[edit]

Devineni Avinash started his political journey from the United Students Organisation (USO)[1] established by his father Devineni Nehru in Vijayawada. He is serving as USO President. Avinash campaigned for his father Devineni Nehru who has contested from Kankipadu Assembly constituency Election in Krishna district of the Andhra Pradesh of India. He also served as a Samaikyandhra Student JAC convenor and participated in various Samaikyandhra Movements including Jala Deeksha [2] and various other student rallies [3][4].

2014 Elections in India[edit]

Devineni Avinash contested in Vijayawada Lok Sabha Elections 2014 from Indian National Congress party[5][6][7]. But, he got defeated by the Kesineni Srinivas from Telugu Desam Party[8]. Later, he along with his father Devineni Nehru joined Telugu Desam Party in 2018.

2019 Elections in India[edit]

Devineni Avinash again contested in 2019 Gudivada Assembly constituency, Andhra Pradesh against YSR Congress Party Member of the Legislative Assembly (India) Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao and got defeated[9][10][11].
