Haneefa Peediakkal Nainakutty (Born April 3,1946) is an editor and author is an Indian Born in Cochin, Kerala state He is the son of late Nainakutty Sahib(Writer) and the grandson of late V.K.Bava (Writer).Haneefa was the fifth of eleven children.Haneefa attented a public school in Ernakulam and later he admitted to Nagpur university and graduated with a honors degree.

His father being an author proved to be a profound influence on the life of little Haneefa .His love for the written word would in the later part of his life lead to his writing the widly claimed "Bloodshed At Karbala" (1998) shortly thereafter,Haneefa penned another books,in his native language of malayalam,titled"Babari MasjithnoruMunoodi" (2001) the curtain raiser to babari masjith event and AL Ameen
