Founder Edith Mott Young – Served as Recording Secretary of Alpha Chapter moved to Youngstown, OH upon graduation from Howard. She later taught at Claflin College in Orangeburg, SC. She received her M.A. in Biblical Literature form Oberlin College in Ohio.
