The discography of American recording artist Bruno Mars consists of two studio albums, one extended play, eighteen singles (including nine as a featured artist), six promotional singles and seventeen music videos. He has sold over six million albums and forty million singles worldwide.[1] Mars began his career in 2009 as a member of the production and songwriting team The Smeezingtons.[2] In 2010, Mars was featured on "Nothin' on You", the debut single of American rapper B.o.B, which topped the United States Billboard Hot 100 and became an international hit.[3] Later that year, he was featured on Travie McCoy's debut single "Billionaire", which peaked at number four on the Hot 100 and was also a commercial success.[3] Mars' debut extended play It's Better If You Don't Understand was released in May 2010 as a prelude to his debut studio album. It peaked at number 99 on the US Billboard 200.[4] The single "Just the Way You Are", released in July 2010, saw international success, staying atop the Billboard Hot 100 for four consecutive weeks and reaching number one in many other countries, including Canada and the United Kingdom.[5][6][7] The song served as the first single from his debut studio album Doo-Wops & Hooligans, which was released in October 2010 and peaked at number three on the Billboard 200.[4] The album's second single "Grenade" topped the Hot 100 and also hit number one in countries such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.[8][6][9][7] The remaining three singles from Doo-Wops & Hooligans— "The Lazy Song", "Marry You" and "Count on Me"—also achieved commercial success. "It Will Rain" was issued as the lead single from the soundtrack to the 2011 film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1; it peaked at number three on the Hot 100.[5]

Unorthodox Jukebox, Mars' second studio album, was released in December 2012. It was preceded by the release of its lead single, "Locked Out of Heaven", which became Mars' fourth number-one hit on the Hot 100.[5]
