Global Arrogance (Persian: استکبار جهانی) is a phrase that has been used by Iranian Supreme Leaders (Ayatollah Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei). They divide the nations into Arrogant and Oppressed. They note to US and Israel as the spearheaded of Global Arrogance. In the Khamenei's view of Global Arrogance is mentioned that the embody of Arrogance is US and when he uses America,he means American regime and its politics nor the people of America.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]

The concept of Global Arrogance[edit]

The global arrogance is equivalent to imperialism.[8] In literally Arrogance means offensive display of superiority or self-importance; overbearing pride.[9] In definition of Global arrogance Thomas Friedman says:«Global arrogance is when your culture and economic clout are so powerful and widely diffused that you know that you don't need to occupy other people to influence their lives.»[10]

The concept of Global arrogance in the political of Islamic Republic of Iran[edit]

After the victory of Islamic revolution of Iran Global Arrogance became an important and critical component in this country.[6] In the political view of Iran the prevailing ideological approach is that global arrogance i.e US Imperialism and international Zionism wants to destroy Islam. In this view, Iran is the center and leadership of Islam World within Islamic nations (Ummah) US is trying to destroy.[11] In the view of Ayatollah Khomeini Global Arrogance is a Quranic word[12] and is the equivalent of International Imperialism. He divided the nations into Arrogant and Oppressed. [13] According to Khamenei's view about Global arrogance, arrogance is a Quranic concept and refers to colonizing the weaker nations trough political, military, scientific, and economic force under the affectation to safeguarding human rights or defend of freedom and democracy by some powerful countries. In his view Global Arrogant are Israel and Zionist network and American regime and its politics against Iran and Muslims nor American peoples.[6][7]

National Day of Fighting against Global Arrogance[edit]

In the calendar of Iranian, 13th Aban(4 November) Marks the National Day of Fight against Global Arrogance. Also this day marks the anniversary of the takeover of the US Embassy in 1979 by the Muslim Student Followers of the Imam's Line in Tehran.[14][15]
