Raquela born Raquela Jean Lopez Burt is an American electronic dance/pop singer-songwriter and musical theatre performer.
Biography[edit]
Raquela began singing at 7 years old. She study Opera at Biola University (La Mirada, Ca). Raquela later studied Music and Theater[1] at University of California, Irvine. Raquela was endorsed into two California Proclamations for her civil duties as the first Mexican American crowned, "Miss Orange County"[2] (Miss California / Miss America Organization). Raquela has been seen playing major roles on several Broadway (New York City) Musical stages.[3]
Early career[edit]
Broadway/Musical Theater Career: The Acid Queen (Gypsy) in "The Who's Tommy"[4] Julie in the revival musical, "Show Boat"[5] Off-Broadway "Bat Boy: The Musical". Originated the roles of Ruthie Taylor, Ned and Young Meredith.
