The following is a list of princesses who appear in various myths and legends of a variety of different cultures.

Andromeda Greek Famous princess rescued by the hero Perseus in ancient Greek mythology. Daughter of the Aethiopian king, Cepheus, and his queen, Cassiopeia.
Astydameia Greek Daughter of Pelops and Hippodameia. Married to Alcaeus and mother of Amphitryon, Anaxo, and Perimede.
Eurydice of Mycenae Greek Daughter of Pelops and Hippodameia. Married to King Electryon of Mycenae, and mother of Alcmene, the mother of Heracles (though in some versions Eurydice was replaced by Electryon's niece, Anaxo).
Helen of Troy Greek Portrayed by Ovid in Heroides as a young princess.

Penelope Greek Daughter of the Spartan king Icarius and his wife, the Naiad Periboea (alternatively ). Faithful wife of Odysseus and mother of his son, Telemachus.

Konohanasakuya-hime Japanese The daughter of the mountain god Ohoyamatsumi. Blossom-princess and symbol of delicate earthly life. Wife of Ninigi and mother of HoderiHosuseri, and Hoori.
