Greetings[edit]

The United States owes more to General George Washington than to any other single person. His presence and person helped create the United States by serving as a rallying point for the nation and protecting her in her infancy.

General Washington could have made himself king and the colonies would have followed down the path of despotism that existed in the Old World, and that so many other nations in the western hemisphere have followed. Instead General Washington, like Cincinnatus, laid down his commission as Commander-In-Chief, laying the foundation for the republic. Unfortunately, with the election of Donald Trump, it is more likely than not that the republic is broken.
